System Integrations & n8n Automation

This page covers systems integration and APIs. If your aim is to automate a complete process, see process automation.

We connect specific systems to move specific data via an API or a suitable connector, after documenting the source of truth, the fields, the authentication, the timing and the failure states. Integration does not mean that every tool or all of your data will synchronise automatically.

Systems integration, platform connectivity and automated data flow

The components of a workable integration

A data contract, authentication, error handling, logging, and an owner on each side.

Integration via n8n

n8n is used where its connectors, hosting requirements, authentication and operating volume are a good fit.

Custom APIs

Building and connecting APIs between your own systems and external ones.

Defined synchronisation timing

Event-driven, scheduled or on demand, according to what each system's interface allows.

Connecting WhatsApp and CRM

Connecting your contact channels to your customer system and sales tools.

Documented events between applications

The event, the data and the action are defined, while the full process logic belongs to the automation service.

Logging and monitoring

The available logs and alerts are determined by the integration tool and the operating environment.

Connectors and synchronisation between different systems

Systems integration in the Saudi business environment

With multiple systems in play, companies in Riyadh and across Saudi Arabia need a single data flow rather than double entry. At Al Shohab Al Aliyah we analyse your existing systems and design integrations that move data securely under clear permissions, with error handling and retries. The result is one connected system instead of isolated islands. Find out about process automation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently asked questions about systems integration

Clear answers about Al Shohab Al Aliyah's systems integration service.

Systems integration moves specific data between two or more systems under a contract that sets out the source, the destination, the fields, the timing, the authentication and how failures are handled.

It suits a situation where the systems, the data to be moved, the source of truth and the reason for moving it can all be named. A full automation goal needs a separate workflow scope.

The scope defines the systems diagram, the fields, the authentication, the timing, the errors and retries, the logging and the test cases. The tool chosen depends on the interfaces and permissions available.

We start with an initial consultation to understand your needs and goals, then propose the right solution and plan, and agree on the roadmap before delivering in clear phases. Contact us on WhatsApp to get started.

It depends on the project's scope and specific requirements; we do not commit to a fixed duration before understanding your needs. We work in flexible phases and agree a realistic timeline with you based on the scope before starting.

How we work at Al Shohab Al Aliyah

We list the systems, the owners, the data and the direction of transfer, then review the interfaces, the permissions and the rate limits and design the field contract. The integration is tested with representative data covering success, duplication, failure and retry before any real operating data is used — in direct contact with the Al Shohab Al Aliyah team via WhatsApp andPhone.

Who owns the data in an integration?

Each entity has one agreed source of truth: the customer may be created in the CRM, the order in the store, and the invoice in the accounting system. The contract defines who may create and edit, how conflicts are resolved, and what happens if the destination system rejects the record.

We do not promise absolute security or stability; authentication, secret storage, logging and alerting are determined by the systems and the hosting environment available.

Integration project deliverables

An integration is accepted on the basis of documentation and testing, not on a single successful transfer:

  • Systems diagram: the source, destination, owner and direction of each flow
  • Field contract: the names, types, transformations and required values
  • Failure policy: duplication, retries, alerting and human intervention
  • Test evidence: success, rejection, duplication, interruption, and reconciliation on both sides

Monitoring after handover follows the agreed support scope; this page does not imply permanent monitoring or that no transaction will ever be lost.

When do you need systems integration?

You need an integration when moving a specific record between two systems is an operational necessity and its source and destination can be identified. If the aim is to run a chain of decisions and approvals, an automation scope is added on top of the integration layer.

The project does not begin by choosing n8n or any other tool; it begins with the constraints of the API, the authentication, the volume, the timing and the hosting. The connection may be direct or through a connector — and it may not be possible at all if the system does not provide a suitable interface or permission.

Example scopes include passing an order to accounting or recording a form in the CRM, but these are design examples, not operational results. Actual availability and accuracy are measured after testing against the real systems.

Integration contract questions to settle before coding

Data and ownership
What is the record? Where is it created? Who owns editing it? And what key prevents duplication?
Failure and operation
When do we retry? Who receives the alert? And how are rejected records handled?

If there are steps and approvals after the transfer, see process automation. Compare the customer fields with the CRM system and the invoices with the accounting system, then send the names of the systems and interfaces through Request an integration.
